What NursingFloor is
NursingFloor is a study supplement and career platform for nursing students. We provide practice questions, flashcards, study guides, school data, and paid services like application review and hiring help.
NursingFloor is not a substitute for your nursing program, a licensed prep course, or professional clinical training. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Nothing on this site is legal or financial advice. Use it alongside your program and verify clinical details with current authoritative sources before relying on them in practice.
Your account
You can browse most of NursingFloor without an account. To unlock the full study tools and your dashboard, you create a free account with an email and password.
One account per person. Use accurate information when you sign up. Don't share your password. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be at least 16 to create an account.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@nursingfloor.com. We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or harm other users.
Acceptable use
You agree to use NursingFloor for personal study. You agree not to:
- Scrape the site or use bots to copy our content in bulk
- Republish or resell our questions, flashcards, study guides, or other content
- Reverse-engineer the platform or interfere with its operation
- Use the platform to harass anyone, share content that violates someone else's rights, or upload anything illegal
- Misrepresent who you are when using our paid services
Paid services
NursingFloor offers paid services including application review and hiring services. Each service has its own scope (what's included), price, and turnaround time, listed on its product page.
Application review ($29.95): we read your nursing school application materials (personal statement, resume, packet) and provide written feedback within 48 hours. One round of follow-up review is included. We do not write or rewrite your application for you. The decisions made by admissions committees are not in our control.
Hiring services ($99.95 review package and $299.95 done-for-you package): the review package includes resume and application packet review plus interview preparation, delivered within 48 hours, with one round of revisions. The done-for-you package includes resume writing, customized cover letter templates, application submissions to up to 10 institutions, and personalized interview prep. The done-for-you package includes a 30-day guarantee: if no interviews land within 30 days of our submitting your applications, you get a full refund.
Refunds: for the application review service, refunds are available before we begin work. Once we deliver feedback, the service is complete and refunds are not available. For the hiring done-for-you package, the 30-day guarantee applies as written. Contact support@nursingfloor.com for refund requests.
Honest framing: we cannot guarantee acceptance to any school, job offer from any employer, or any specific outcome. We provide a service. The outcome depends on you, the program, the employer, and the market.
Support contributions
You can choose to support NursingFloor at $10, $25, or $50 tiers. Contributions help fund hosting, content, and platform development.
NursingFloor is a for-profit company, not a registered nonprofit. Contributions are not tax-deductible. We don't pretend otherwise.
Content ownership
All questions, flashcards, study guides, articles, and other content on NursingFloor are owned by us or licensed for our use. You can use them for personal study. You cannot copy, redistribute, sell, or use them in another product without written permission.
Anything you send us (study notes, application materials, feedback) remains yours. By sending it, you give us permission to use it solely to provide the service you requested.
Clinical content disclaimer
Our flashcards, questions, study guides, and reference tools are educational materials drawn from licensed nursing texts and verified sources. They are intended to support study, not to guide patient care.
Clinical practice evolves. Always verify medication dosing, lab values, and protocols against current authoritative sources (your facility's policies, manufacturer's instructions, current clinical guidelines) before applying them to patients.
We do not warrant that any clinical content is current, complete, or appropriate for any particular patient situation.
School data disclaimer
Our California nursing program data comes from the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and other public sources. We re-publish it for student convenience. We do not guarantee accuracy. Verify school details, costs, deadlines, and accreditation status with the schools themselves before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
We provide NursingFloor as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Outcomes related to NCLEX, school admissions, job offers, or career decisions
- Clinical decisions made using our educational content
- Loss of data, downtime, or technical issues with the platform
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind
Our total liability to you, for any claim, is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you have not paid us anything, our total liability is capped at one hundred dollars (US $100).
Changes to the service
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. If we make a change that materially reduces what you've paid for, we'll either provide a substitute of equivalent value or refund the unused portion.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and post a banner on the site for at least 30 days. If you keep using the platform after a change, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email is brought in the state or federal courts of California, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
